Description

Subject to the Terms and Conditions of Service, you are expected to observe the Trusts agreed policies and procedures, drawn up in consultation with the professions on clinical matters, and to follow the standing orders and financial instructions of The Medway NHS Foundation Trust.

In particular, where the appointee manages employees of the Trust the appointee will be expected to follow the local and national employment and personnel policies and procedures.

The appointee will be expected to make sure that there are adequate arrangements for hospital staff involved in the care of patients about whom their nominated cover is required when necessary.

The appointee will assist the Clinical Lead in Microbiology in the organisation and provision of a microbiological, diagnostic, clinical, IPC and advisory service to all healthcare services, including GP related services across the health economy.
