We have vacancies for Operations Team Members working 5-night shifts (4 shifts working 8.2 hours and 1 shift working hours p/w)

Overview of Role

As a team member of the operational function, this role has a responsibility to ensure that the products manufactured are to the required safety and quality standards.

The team member must ensure that they operate to the site standards, as per training, whilst ensuring that all equipment and production areas are maintained to the correct highest standards and are suitable for the safe and efficient operation of the plant.

The team member is required to proactively participate in team meetings to understand and contribute to achieving shift targets and ensure that they raise any operational issues, including health, and safety, quality and training concerns for resolution.

They must embrace the two principles, "Offer our customers only the finest products" and "Continually challenge the status quo".

The team member will be responsible for a variety of aspects in the food production and distribution processes, including but not limited to:

  • Material handling
  • Equipment operation
  • Process monitoring
  • Quality control
  • Improvement activities, such as 5s, 5 why and short interval control
  • Various support activities including associated recording and IT processes and duties and responsibilities can change regularly based on the fact needs.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Good level of literacy and numeracy, comfortable using screens and completing documentation accurately
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Problem solving skills
  • Foundation Health & Safety
  • Food Safety
  • Health & Safety and Manual Handling capability
  • Desirable but not essential for all roles
