Further information:

The main areas of the work will be to:

  • Provide a Welfare Rights Service to support individuals engaging with Communities for Work using a variety of methods, face to face, telephone, online.
  • Prepare legal arguments, gather evidence and present cases at first tier appeal hearings; and when required at upper tribunals.
  • Plan, prepare and deliver training courses/sessions covering a wide range of welfare benefits to those statutory and third sector organisations that you are supporting.
  • To devise information leaflets and publications that are easy to read covering areas of complex welfare benefit law.
