The main areas of the work will be to:

Provide a Welfare Rights Service to support individuals engaging with Communities for Work using a variety of methods, face to face, telephone, online.
Prepare legal arguments, gather evidence and present cases at first tier appeal hearings; and when required at upper tribunals.
Plan, prepare and deliver training courses/sessions covering a wide range of welfare benefits to those statutory and third sector organisations that you are supporting.
To devise information leaflets and publications that are easy to read covering areas of complex welfare benefit law.
To provide policy advice and support.

You will be part of a busy team, where there is a heavy focus on team work whilst being able to work independently; the work of an adviser is challenging but very rewarding.
