Description

Trinity personnel are recruiting for FLT/dispatch co-ordinator for a local client based near to Stourbridge. The client are the leading British manufacturer of forged, fabricated, and machined components.

Hours of work: 7.45am-4.45 Monday to Thursday inclusive and 7.45am-3.45pm Friday.

Overtime:
Overtime may be required mornings and/or weekends if required at the agreed hourly rate.

Salary:
£22,000 + Overtime

Responsibilities

Driving Company Drop side Van for local drops to long distance/ from customers, suppliers and other company sites (Doulton Road)
Pack goods for despatch and produce relevant paperwork
Unload materials from supplier's transport and locate the consignment onto the storage racks in the steel yard.
Issue and deliver the materials to the correct production unit or the shop floor area
Make sure that all the production units are supplied with material and there is mínimal waiting time.
If any material is unused, then return back into stock and relocate in steel storage area. Also inform the Production/Admin Manager that material has been returned and issue a new label.
Aid Forge When required, removing finished forged parts from the forge area. Weigh each bin and enter the total weight and the tare weight of the stillage. Pass onto the next Process which is shown on the job traveller.
Scrap metal waste must be identified and emptied into the correct material bins. Example stainless steel, carbon, nickel alloys.
Environmental waste to be disposed of in line with detailed work instructions
Act as bunds man(unloading/moving/loading) to ensure health and safety requirements are met
Maintain raw material area is clean and tidy.
Assist with annual stocktake

Paperwork/computer/other Duties

Receive copies of purchase orders to verify raw material requirements against deliveries from suppliers
Pass advice notes to administration personnel
Assist with saw bay operations as required
To be part of the environmental team to help prevent and act in the event of an environmental incident.
Produce and receive transfer documents between sites.
Issue material to job travellers when picked items picked from stock.
