We have a great opportunity for an Assistant Underwriter to join our Renewals Connect team based in Leeds. The Assistant Underwriter will provide an excellent underwriting service for brokers across the UK. Working as part of a team being pro-active and willing to help brokers across all classes of business.

Developing relationships internally and externally, monitor and analyse broker activity to identify success and area's for improvement and provide pro-active feedback to your team manager.

We can offer a great career path upwards to Underwriter/Senior Underwriter along with funding and support for your CII qualification

What you'll be doing:

Our must have's:

Proven relevant insurance experience and demonstrable technical skills ideally Background and experience in our lines of business is desirable, commercial, commercial combined, D&O, construction, social welfare, PI, EL/PL Excellent written, spoken communication and numerical skills A high level of accuracy and attention to detail Demonstrable IT skills including MS Office Be studying for/or be willing to study for CII qualifications Knowledge of Acturis is preferred
