We are now looking for a Student Services Coordinator to provide support to students, assist with visa and immigration activities, support induction programmes, undertake scheduling administration, process records and produce reports, and undertake all assessmentand examination administration whilst providing support to the academic teams in relation to quality assurance, student attendance and student experience.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To register students and comply with UKVI requirements
  • Upload passport and visa scans onto Validate and applicable platforms
  • Maintain uptodate visa requirements and processes by liaising with the Visa Officer
  • To develop strong relationships with the University Housing Office to facilitate the provision of appropriate accommodation for ISC students
  • To assist in the induction programme and the preparation of induction packs and welcome letters
  • To deal professionally and promptly with student's enquiries and requests for support and foster positive relationships with the student body
  • To deal with any accommodation issues raised by ISC students, signpost and advice on student housing options including liaison with Student Lettings and the University Admissions team.
  • To log student absences in the absence spreadsheet
  • To organise refundable deposits along with term time and termination refunds for students
  • To assist in the collection of outstanding fees
  • To Support academic staff with attendance registers and upload them where necessary
  • To distribute, in a timely and accurate manner, personalised timetables for teachers and students
  • Proofreading and formatting of assessments
  • Preparing assessments packs
  • Exam setup and invigilation
  • Collating assessment submission and script distribution, entering assessment and examination results as required
  • Production and distribution of interim reports
  • To assist in producing statistical analysis and reports as required
  • Production and distribution of endofterm reports, transcripts, and course completion documents
  • To assist with the implementation and administration of academic quality processes to ensure compliance with external bodies
  • To take minutes at relevant meetings
  • To provide general admin support for the Centre as required including examinations, student correspondence bank letters, police registration, study confirmation and council tax letters, and cover admin duties for other members of staff when absent andduring peak periods

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Working in a pressurised environment
  • Working with international students (Desirable)
  • Working in a higher education environment (Desirable)
  • Experience in an administrative role.
