Role Purpose:
Khalsa Aid is seeking a highly motivated Content Writer to work in our UK office. They will play a key role in shaping the content strategy,
creating, and delivering engaging and inspiring content, enhancing our organisation's offering, and delivering our messages effectively.


Objectives:


  • Develop an effective content strategy
  • Manage & produce a programme of highquality content in line with brand guidelines
  • Proof read and edit content/reports to ensure organisation tone and language is consistent
  • Support inhouse digital creator by developing video stories, social media content, blogs, newsletters and web copy
  • Develop relationships with Press Departments, journalists & other industry organisations
  • Engage & develop strong stakeholder engagement

Skills & Experience Required

  • Degree level education in Marketing & Communications, or demonstratable experience of working as a professional content writer, with editing and proofreading experience
  • Strong communication skills, with exceptional written skills
  • Knowledge of SEO & Google Analytics
  • Strong creative skill with a keen eye for detail
  • Energy and enthusiasm for producing engaging content
  • Ability to create engaging stories/storyboards
  • Create innovative long and short form content i.e., social media, blogs, video scripts, etc.
  • Right to work in the UK; Language skills such as Punjabi or Hindi are highly desirable
