More about your role
This role is part of our 2023 graduate programme, known internally as our Emerging Talent programme. As our Graduate Housing Officer you'll support with the delivery of housing management services to our tenants across Scotland.

The two-year programme will support you to develop the core skills, behaviours and technical ability to develop into a Housing Officer or another role within the wider housing sector we operate within.

This is a new role within Places for People Scotland, based within our Edinburgh communities the role will allow you to create, develop and put into practice process and ways of working to support tenancies within your communities.

This will include working closely with our tenants to sustain their tenancies, this could involve dealing with tenancy challenges and estate management.

You'll start to develop an understanding of the community you work within, with the ability build strong relationships with customers.

Keeping our customers and communities safe and sustainable.

As we keep creating communities you'll have the opportunity to work closely with our inhouse Developer Housebuilder, getting exposure to the building stage of property management aswell as the handover for new tenancy.

The role

for travelling to ourtenancies across Edinburgh. This is an Agile role,
predominantlyworking from home and visiting sites within your area.

More about you

You'll be educated to a graduate level with a degree within a related specialism such as Housing, Real Estate, or a degree with a link to social services or working with vulnerable people.

You'll have an enthusiasm for what you do and want to develop a career within Housing.

You'll be a real people person and want a role that sees you getting out and about speaking with our customers, colleagues and other individuals.

Strong communicators will do well within these roles.
