Contract: 6 month contract
Our leading manufacturing client is looking for a Commercial Sourcing Manager to join global MGS Commercial team for an interim 6 month contract with possible extension.
This role manages commercial operational and strategic sourcing activities in the EU region for Data & Tech in order to process market research activities.
This role is responsible for implementing the Marketing and Sales Data & Tech plan as well as identifyingand delivering additional value chain optimization opportunities.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manages indirect Data & Tech spend in line with commitments to the business and as per the sourcing strategy
- Implements business/ commercial strategy
- Ensures effective risk management of the current supply base including where applicable managing transition plans to new suppliers
- Establishes & maintains relationships with business stakeholders including across marketing, CMI, finance and their teams, global commercial team
- Comply with governance policies, systems & controls
- Contracts negotiations
- Provide market and financial insights
- Provide input to and execute Global & Regional strategies (MSSM) & other major workstreams
- Participate in external forums and associations
- Acts as the liaison between the business and the sourcing manager to communicate changing business needs
- Carries out supplier performance reviews on a regular basis and implements the supplier relationship management plan
Experience required for this role:
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience working in commercial sourcing space (5+ years)
- Previous experience in contract management and negotiation
- Previous experience managing suppliers and negotiating commercial agreements with suppliers
