Liaise are a specialist care provider for people with learning disabilities.

Liaise own a portfolio of 39 homes and are looking to expand the team in line with the company's growth aspirations.

The company are looking for an experienced Property Managerto join the team. The role is predominately London based but travel will be required to different regions.


The Property / Facilities Manager is responsible for overall maintenance, compliance and property management of the portfolio within their region.


What you will be doing:


  • Set up and complete inspection visits on a regular basis
  • Manage raised jobs and new orders on PM management system
  • Take calls from managers reporting maintenance issues and log on the PM system
  • Raise work orders with appropriate local contractor for works to be done, monitor and check
  • Upon receipt of invoices crossreference these with work orders and authorize these for accounts to action.
  • Monitor compliance tasks and arrange inspection
  • Complete quarterly audits of the portfolio and produce audit reports
  • Managing the property's finances, by keeping accurate records and monitoring property budgets
  • Produce annual capex budgets for each property
  • Maintaining the property and ensuring regular building upkeep, completing repairs, and oversight of reactive maintenance tasks
  • Manage refurbishment and capex projects in consultation with the contractor, home manager and maintenance officer
  • Preparing regular propertystatus reports for relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinating maintenance schedule using the PM system
  • Oversight of Risk Assessment Actions in conjunction with the home manager
  • Raise insurance claims through Broker and manage through to successful completion
  • Assist the development team with the property handover of completed sites
  • Assist the team with other property tasks in line with the needs of the business

Skills and Qualifications;

  • Excellent knowledge of the property and real estate market
  • Great management and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of excel and ability to use/learn technology management systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Ability to work with mínimal supervision
  • Property related Degree or equivalent
  • IOSH essential
  • MRICS desirable but not essential
  • Use of own transport
