Llais is a new national, independent body set up by the Welsh Government to give the people of Wales a voice in their health and social care services.

Our role is to engage with and listen to the patients and public of Wales.

We do this by reaching out to people in their local communities, hearing their views and understanding their experiences of health and social care.

We will feed back to decision-makers to help shape and influence future services.

Main duties of the job


The Advocacy Support officer is the first point of contact to members of the public who wish to make a complaint/ raise concerns about any aspect of their NHS and social care, service or treatment.


They are an experienced administrator, providing comprehensive support to the Complaints Advocates including arranging meetings, and taking minutes and drafting paperwork.

The post holder will co-ordinate the work of the advocates, ensuring that cases are dealt with in a timely manner.


They attend client meetings to support Llais Advocates by making a note of key issues which will later be used to prepare correspondence.

They are also responsible for preparing regular reports for the Llais by analysing data from multiple sources, ensuring that areas of concern are reported to the Regional Director for remedial action and to inform future work
