Customer Service Advisor - Part Time
NOVO CSV is a well-established business within the after-care sales sector.

We are seeking to appoint a Part Time Customer Service Advisor to join our existing team to help provide an excellent level of service to our customers.

This is a varied, hands on and responsible role and we are seeking applicants who have thorough knowledge and experience within this area of expertise.

The hours for this position are 22.5 per week which equates to 3 full days per week.
The working days required are Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. The hours are 9am to 5pm with a 30-minute break. There may be the option of overtime as and when required.


We are a National Service Centre for many major manufacturers and retailers, providing a quality repair service on a variety of appliances including Coffee Machines, Steam Irons, Drills & DIY equipment and Garden Power tools.

Our offices, workshop and warehousing facilities are based in Great Bridge, near West Bromwich, in the heart of the UK.

Job Specification and skills required are as follows:

  • Job Specification_
  • Interacting with customers daily and dealing with any call that comes through on the Customer Service Line.
  • Booking service calls and arranging courier collections and providing courier shipping labels.
  • Processing orders for goods, consumables and accessories.
  • Accurately servicing client and customer requests, resolving any queries and issues in an efficient, timely and polite manner.
  • Provide quality customer service and administration
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools you have. This includes handbooks and catalogues provided and websites which are available for parts and prices.
  • Following up on jobs and keeping on top of callbacks to customers/clients. Keeping in regular contact with them to provide updates.
  • Keeping up to date on product knowledge as well as new processes being implemented within the customer service team.
  • Communicate well with all departments to ensure a smooth service is provided from start to finish.
  • Skills_
  • Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with internal and external Clients in English, both in writing and verbally.
  • Computer literate and fully conversant with job management systems, Microsoft Office software and web portals and call centre telephone systems.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the service and customer service industry
  • Ability to understand and follow established procedures
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Applicants must have experience of working within a customer service team
  • Ability to work flexibly and accurately, within a fastpaced environment
  • The ability to remain calm, helpful and professional when dealing with customers.
  • Ability to multitask
