Remote, we offer hybrid working, 2-3 days in our Cannock office

Within this role you will have overall responsibility to develop the Emerging talent proposition strategy for Veolia to reach our ambition of becoming an employer of choice.

What will you be doing?

  • Leading a small team to design and develop the delivery of early careers programmes to include but not limited to: Graduate, Internships, Industrial Placements and Veolia Summer School Placements
  • Design and implement the delivery of an Internship programme approach ensuring a seamless link to the graduate programme.
  • Oversee the endtoend process of attraction, recruitment, assessment, selection and onboarding of graduates, apprentices and interns/work placements, ensuring a consistent and robust approach across Veolia UK.
  • Lead and manage the Emerging Talent Acquisition team to ensure the timely delivery of digital and non digital attraction campaigns using innovative methods to attract talent. Engaging with external partners to raise the Veolia Emerging Talent profile.
  • Work closely with Senior HR leaders to identify succession gaps, skills gaps and shortages and mapping early careers roles accordingly.
  • Engage with external partners to bring insight to shape and evolve the early careers programmes.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven track record of operating at a senior manager level within the Emerging Talent area.
  • Previous experience of Graduate programme development and delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills operating at a senior level with the ability to effectively influence.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver multiple strategic and high profile initiatives.
  • Proven track record of advising and influencing senior stakeholders in an operational environment on confidential and challenging issues.
  • Strong team management and leadership skills.
