Pre-Sales / Senior Data Cloud Architect - Hybrid - Up to £150,000


We're looking for an experienced Senior Cloud and Data Architect with Pre-Sales experience, for our globally recognised Consultancy, specialising in global digital services and solutions.


As a Senior Data Cloud architect you will be working with a number of clients focusing on Big data and cloud technologies where you will be providing clients with the end to end process of migrations and conducting pre-sales responsibilities to understand business and solution needs.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Implementation experience and hands on experience in either of the 2 Cloud technologies
  • Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks
  • Must Have Hands on experience on at least 2 Hyperscalers (GCP/AWS/Azure platforms) and specifically in Big Data processing services (Apache Spark, Beam or equivalent).
  • Indepth knowledge on key technologies like Big Query/Redshift/Synapse/Pub Sub/Kinesis/MQ/Event Hubs, Kafka Dataflow/Airflow/ADF etc.
  • Excellent consulting experience and ability to design and build solutions, actively contribute to RfP response.
  • Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
  • Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:_
  • Ability to be a SPOC for all technical discussions across industry groups.
  • Ability to define the monitoring, alerting, deployment strategies for various services.
  • Good to have working knowledge of Jenkins, Terraform, StackDriver or any other DevOps tools.
  • Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve data.
  • Ability to recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.
  • Ability to recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems
  • Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams.
  • Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining.
  • Knowledge of systems development, including system development life cycle, project management approaches and requirements, design and testing techniques
  • Proficiency in data modelling and design, including SQL development and database administration
  • Ability to implement common data management and reporting technologies, as well as the Columnar and NoSQL databases, data visualization, unstructure.

Role & Responsibilities:


  • Lead technical discussions with clients to understand their needs and identify solutions
  • Develop and present proposals, technical documents, and solution designs to clients
  • Collaborate with the sales team to drive revenue and growth
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the implementation team
  • Conduct product demonstrations and educate clients on the benefits of the cloud architecture

Key Skills:


  • Strong background in IT and cloud architecture
  • Experience in Account Management and client relationship building
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Certifications in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
