We are looking for a self-motivated and hard-working individual to join our highly skilled team of professionals. Our teaching assistants support the class teacher as well as deliver interventions to small groups and individuals. A good standard of spoken and written English is essential, as our children can spot a missing comma or apostrophe a mile away

Part of a small school team you should be willing to participate in a wide range of activities, from creating scenery for school productions to supporting small group maths.

• Have strong written and spoken English and Maths skills
• Be confident to work with junior age and/or SEND children
• Be a committed practitioner with high expectations of our children and of themselves
• Be hardworking, a team player and have a sense of humour
• Be able to follow professional advice and implement appropriate strategies to support learning
• Be able to work on their own initiative and manage and organise their time effectively
• Show commitment to the safeguarding of children

Previous experience in the role of Teaching Assistant is desirable, but not essential.

Hours:
hours per week, term time only. There is some flexibility in hours, but Fridays are essential.
