    Employability Tutor

    We are delighted to support an award-winning social enterprise in hiring a dedicated Employability Tutor.

    About Our Client

    Our client is a leading provider of skills and training in the UK, with a mission to enable growth, create jobs and improve lives. They envision a society where economic growth and prosperity is inclusive, sustainable and leaves no person or community behind.

    Main Purpose

    The successful candidate will develop, promote, deliver and assess training to maximise learning outcomes for learners. This role offers further training opportunities and agile working hours.

    Responsibilities:

    • Deliver classroom-based accredited qualification entry 3 and level 1 training to unemployed adults (learners) in groups of up to 12-15 people.
    • Carry out initial and ongoing assessments to ensure students are on the right programme and receiving the right level of support.
    • Prepare learners to successfully undertake assignments or sit tests/exams to maintain high success rates.
    • Mark/assess students' work, provide structured feedback and set development objectives for learners.
    • Plan and design appropriate training programmes, taking account of individual requirements to ensure differentiation of learning.
    • Monitor and track students' progress, including through reviews to ensure high achievement rates.

    About You

    To be successful in this role, you should have:

    • Motivating and inspiring qualities.
    • A supportive and flexible approach.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • The ability to plan and organise your workload effectively.
    • IT skills, including the ability to use technology.

    Requirements

    The ideal candidate should:

    • Hold a teaching qualification – at least PTLLS Level 3.
    • Have IAG Level / Qualification or be willing to undertake training.
    • Hold a Full UK Drivers Licence or be able to travel across Greater Manchester.
    • Have experience of working in employability (an advantage).

    Salary:

    £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
