**Retail Operations Manager
**Are you an experienced Retail professional looking for an opportunity to grow with Gatwick?
The commercial function is responsible for driving income from passengers, airlines and on-airport partners. The team work closely with the retail and hospitality operators to improve the service offering to passengers.


What is the role?


As a Retail Operations Manager you will be responsible for optimising the goods in and waste away operation, providing best in class support that ensures concessionaires can maximise their spend per passenger.

The Retail Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining relationships across their portfolio between Gatwick's Retail Team and on airport partners that maximise sales whilst delivering our EHSOR objectives.


What will you do?

  • Optimise all concessionaires' goods in/waste away operation to achive; stock availability and recycling targets.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction of concessionaires for their logistic services.
  • Manage and maintain the Stockroom and Back of House space for all concessionaires.
  • Lead on compliance and delivery of EHS requirements.
  • Ensure the media estate is maintained and repaired to the agreed standard, ensuring media income is optimised and Opex is managed.
  • Define, deliver and continually improve the retail induction programme for new concessionaires from concept to store opening delivering on time performance.

Do you have what we're looking for?

  • Experience in a retail operations environment, ideally working with 3 rd parties
  • Commercially strong, able to specific relevant KPIs
  • Highly structured and methodical in approach
  • Analytical, able to interpret datasets & determine trends
  • Able to manage to pressurised deadlines, ensuring everything is delivered
  • Degree educated desirable, but not essential
  • Relevant qualification desirable, but not essential
