Customer Service Adviser

This role is an interesting and varied customer service role working for a forward-thinking digital bank that has been in operation since 2001.They are looking for a number of Customer Service Advisers on a permanent basis from January 2023.This role willbe completely remote; however you will be expected to travel to their Manchester office for 2 weeks of the initial 4-week training course.

This role is working Monday-Friday, so no weekends or bank holidays.

Job Role

The Customer Service Adviser will be responsible for providing an excellent level of service to each and every customer, ensuring their queries are resolved within an efficient and precise manner, with a fair customer outcome at the heart of everything youdo.


Tasks include (but not limited to):

  • Transferring of customer funds
  • Ordering of cards & PIN codes
  • Amendments to customer contact details
  • General balance and transaction enquiries
  • Assist with problem solving where customers are struggling to use/log into the banking app
  • Accurate reporting of any complaints and/or suspicious activity in line with company policy and procedure

Required Skills and Experience:


  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Ability to be empathetic and build relationships
  • Able to work under pressure, whilst maintaining a professional and positive attitude
  • A high level of accuracy and numeracy skills
