Instructor, Burnley - Tradewind
Description
SEN Instructor required for an Alternative Provision in BurnleyPay:
£120-£195 per day
Start date:
ASAP - July 2023 with the view to go permanent
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to students with SEMH, SEN and behavioural needs
Assess and monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and colleagues
Work closely with other members of staff to provide a positive and inclusive learning environment
Implement and maintain effective behaviour management strategies
Attend and contribute to meetings and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching in an SEN or Alternative Provision setting
Strong understanding of SEN and how to support students with a range of needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
The role is on a supply basis with pay rates between £120-£195 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
