About The Role:


Do you want to make a difference to the lives of communities in Yorkshire & Humber? Would you like to join a team who gave a 100% rating of feeling supported by their management team? Our regional funding team is looking for an enthusiastic Executive Officer who will support the administration of our grant making processes as we award upwards of £25 million p/a to charities and communities in order to change people's lives.


Tasks include:

  • Minuting decisions made at weekly funding assessment meetings and adding notes to our database
  • Taking minutes of management team meetings
  • Organising whole team meetings/social events
  • Supporting team members to identify and access training and development opportunities
  • Processing invoices and purchase orders (on average once a week not high volume)


You may have experience as administrator/PA, you may be a recent graduate, you may have worked in the community sector.

There is no single background we are looking for. A commitment to learn, develop and to support the communities that we seek to serve is our main expectation. You will be expected to be in the Leeds office 2/3 days p/w. Occasional travel required when we visit charities seeking funding.


Interview Date: 16th February 2023


Location:

Hybrid role - working at least 2/3 days p/w in our modern office space adjacent to Leeds Station and WFH available on other days.


Essential Criteria:


  • Confident in communicating verbally and in writing.
  • Confident in use of Microsoft Teams or willingness and ability to learn.
  • Competent in use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good at organising and planning your own workload.

Desirable Criteria:


  • Experience of using any form of database such eg Salesforce.
  • Enjoys talking to and meeting new people.
  • Experience of processing invoices/purchase orders.
  • Willingness to work on own initiative.
