This is a permanent Executive Assistant position based in Reading

About Our Client:

The organisation is a respected player in the technology and telecoms sector with a significant workforce. Renowned for its commitment to innovation and customer service, the company has built a solid reputation. It operates from its base in Reading and also Stoke.

This EA position based in Reading will involve the following responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in handling sensitive issues
  • Exhibit the capability to travel between Stoke/Reading and customer sites regularly
  • Possess expertise in crafting impactful PowerPoint presentations
  • Prioritise and communicate commitments, deadlines, and potential conflicts to optimise the Deputy CEO's time
  • Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, screening and managing communication on behalf of the Deputy CEO
  • Prepare meeting agendas, collate necessary documents, and ensure timely distribution to participants
  • Attend meetings, take accurate minutes, and follow up on action items to ensure deadlines are met
  • Organise and maintain confidential files, records, and documents in both physical and digital formats
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of reports, presentations, and other materials
  • Coordinate tasks and projects on behalf of the Deputy CEO, liaising with various departments and team members to ensure timely completion
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Anticipate and proactively address issues that may impact the Deputy CEO's workflow or schedule.

The Successful Applicant:


A successful Executive PA should have:

  • A solid background in providing EA at a senior level (c-suite).
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the technology and telecoms sector.

Please note, this role does involve occasional travel to my clients Stoke office in order to support the Deputy CEO with his duties.
