A 'good' secondary school in Leyland are looking to appoint a full-time Art Teacher following the Easter holidays, initially until the end of the academic year.

**About the role

  • KS3/KS4 Art Teacher
  • Previous Art teaching experience essential
  • Previous GCSE Art teaching experience desirable
  • Good behaviour and classroom management
  • Fulltime, longterm post
**Roles and responsibilities

  • To teach Art, Design and Technology to KS3 and KS4 students achieving positive outcomes for all groups of students
  • Teach across the age range of KS3 and KS4 to all abilities
  • Ensure teaching and learning in the classroom maximizes the potential of all students
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of an innovative and engaging Art curriculum
  • Be dedicated to personal continued professional development
  • To share and support the school's responsibility to provide opportunities for personal and academic growth

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
