Our client has an incredible reputation as an innovative web-based tech solutions provider growing in the UK and Europe, delivering platforms to the automotive contract hire and vehicle leasing community.

They provide their services to motor manufacturers, leasing companies and car dealerships throughout the UK.

Their staff retention is outstanding, and this is a genuinely rare opportunity to join a great business in the role within the Internal Technical Team.

Being a part of the technical team will mean you work closely with the product teams, as well as the outsourced development & IT partners.

Having undergone a server upgrade project recently, a large part of the role will be the management and maintenance of the new Azure infrastructure alongside our IT partners.

The Role:

Within the Technical role you will be an invaluable part of the team, ensuring that we deliver the best possible experience to our customers point of contact for our clients.

Having a fantastic foundation in understanding and trouble resolution for Microsoft Windows server, is essential for the role.

Responsibilities:

Microsoft SQL server, IIS, Active Directory, basic networking is required as an essential skill
Knowledge and previous experience of Azure, firewalls and Linux will be useful
Experience of problem solving and have the ability and desire to take an issue from root cause analysis through to a proven solution
You must be confident working on your own and also as part of larger projects that involve several parties, which may include external suppliers and/or customers
Exceptional written and verbal skills to be able to clearly communicate problems and solutions to key contact, no all have a technical background or potentially with clients whose first language is not English
You will be hands on from day one, hybrid working is an option, with regular visits for onsite meetings
Contribution to current and future projects, by being an active participant in all work and assisting with the daytoday tasks and documentation

About You:

If you have the relevant technical knowledge and have collaborated with customers on a face to face and written environment and have a "can do" attitude, to ensure that every customer you work with, can be assured that you understand their needs and can trust the solution you offer.
