£55,000-£68,000 base

Seeking BFS consulting professionals in the UK to join a global leader in Information Technology and Consulting Services as a Capital Markets Senior Consultant.

This opportunity gives you the chance to join a close-net, entrepreneurial team of around 15people in a company that employs over 300,000 worldwide.

Ideally we are looking for someone with a minimum of 2-3 years solid consulting experience, with a good understanding of Financial Services, Capital Markets and Risk Management.

As a Capital Markets Senior Consultant you will be making a significant contributionto the Capital Markets practice through sector experience, delivery support and client engagement.

Essential experience for a Capital Markets Senior Consultant:

4-5+ years solid consulting experience in Business and Technology Transformation Programmes within Capital Markets
Experience with financial services products and asset classes (equities/fixed income/funds/derivatives etc.)
Knowledge of F2B lifecycles, middle office, liquidity/collateral, settlements, massaging bodies, asset servicing
Experience with Risk Management and Stress Testing
Experience of working with technology partners and business stakeholders
Experience of working in project lifecycle and understanding of project management methodologies
Experience of working in a global delivery environment
Strong academic background

Soft skills necessary for a Capital Markets Senior Consultant:

Fantastic communicator, both written and verbal, for successful teamwork, delivery and client engagement
Thinking outside the box and on your feet for creative solutioning
Open minded to help guide teams successfully
Natural ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues

Leading/being part of a team that has delivered a large program in a global delivery environment - not essential but a plus.
