About the CX PracticeYou will join the wider CX Practice operating within the Design team.
The Design team collaborates across various sectors within the CX Practice as well as other practices within Smart Platforms and the wider Eviden network on customer projects.
Our team is forward-thinking in anticipating the future, and how we can adapt our roles and fields in a constantly evolving spectrum across various mediums and influences with AI and Generational Design.

About the roleWe're looking for Content Designers who can collaboratively advise and lead digital teams throughout the content design process.
You should have a minimum of five years' consultancy experience in Agile environments, and be confident making decisions, mentoring, and leading clients whilst representing your consultancy respectfully.
Occasionally, you will be expected to contribute to internal business needs based on your abilities and suitability with the Design Team's ethos and ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
Make sure appropriate content is shown to a user in the right place and in the best format.
Produce content based on user needs, user research, and business or policy requirements.
Visualise your work in context to show clients any changes or proposals you've made.
Collaborate closely with other teams (functional and technical) in the delivery of user-centered design;
Demonstrate your expertise by showcasing your work to the wider team for reference.
Record design decisions and iterations in a design log.
Required skills and experience
Demonstrate your skills in turning complex problems into simple solutions for users.
Understand the lifecycle of content methods within UCD.
Experienced in leading content design processes alongside project teams, Product Owners and other clients and key collaborators all the way from Alpha phase through to final delivery.
Collaborate with Business Analysts and User Researchers to ensure that content outputs align with business requirements while meeting user needs.
Make independent decisions, and guide clients in the direction of user-centered content.
Confidence in working collaboratively, autonomously, and remotely.
Knowledge of the GDS (Government Digital Service) service standards and design principles.
Solid understanding of error messages, microcopy, and the importance of accessible content.
Desirable skills and additional experience
ChatGPT and other AI design prompt tools.
GDS Service Manual/Toolkit.
Work with both private and public sector clients.
User research.
