About The Role:

We're now seeking a dynamic

Systems Support Officer to play a key role in the support and ongoing growth of the University's Loan and Sale system and processes. Working closely with our Technical Facilities on both our campuses, you'll be an integral part of a diverse community of super users, supporting and continuing to develop the system and associated processes as well as protecting the standardised approach. Together with providing a first line of support for bookings and sales in the system, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of data and schedules, including managing requests for changes.


This is a pivotal role in supporting the centralised management of the system, ensuring data quality, and protecting the standardised approach to processes.

You will work proactively with a technical and creative team spanning several departments, including store managers, technicians, academics and senior colleagues who have system admin roles on both campuses, acting as a system champion.

You will also be supporting students and staff with their use of the system.


About You:


  • Outstanding communication and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of, and interest in, the use of business systems and IT.
  • Previous experience of providing helpdesk and/or user support for business systems.
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and processes.
  • Ability to work independently and to manage your own workload, as well as working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Positive and proactive approach to customer service.

This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis working 35 hours a week across Monday - Friday.

We operate a hybrid flexible approach to working with the opportunity to work from home and either campus. An on-campus presence will be required on a weekly basis of 1-3 days a week.
