    Your Purpose
  • The Operational Excellence Specialist is responsible for the deployment, development and sustainability of our operational excellence programme at Burton Brewery.
  • They will work side by side with all levels of the operational teams as we seek to increase capacity, build capability and deliver excellence at one of Britains biggest breweries
    Key Responsibilities
  • Supports execution of World Class Supply Chain implementation and transfers ownership of these activities to the team(s) through capability building and coaching
  • On the floor coaching: Acts as the daily coach to Line Leads, Operational Line Structures, Pillar Leads, Site Leadership and teams/individuals in their small group activities and ensures linkage of the effort with loss elimination and business results
  • Develops the skill to align brewery leadership to deliver the Compelling Business Need through loss elimination and WCSC capability. Leading for Autonomous Maintenance activities across site and coaching those leading the activity

About You

  • A very strong Supply Chain/operational background, ideally in leadership roles.
  • Experience in lean manufacturing deployment strong knowledge of the deployment approaches of FMCG companies to operational excellence programmes.
  • Understanding of the Supply Chain and planning processes that directly impact the brewery operation.
  • Ability to coach others
  • Ability to build, lead and manage a project team (e.g., talent and performance management, feedback and coaching)
  • Strong communicator that can set clear expectations whilst being open, honest and persistent
  • Knowledge of health & safety, environmental regulations and practices
  • Ability to work with and dissemenate data
