About the team
Part of Merchant Solutions International (Worldpay from FIS), the Small-Medium Business (SMB) International team is focused on delivering payment transformation for its existing and future merchants - aiming to make the process of taking, making and managingpayments easier.
We come from a position of strength in the UK and an enviable heritage as a scale Payments Leader.We are seeking to leverage the assets and relationships of the FIS Group, the strength of talent in the organisation and the continued growth in demand for digitalPayments to help merchants take, make and manage payments in support of their business aspirations.
We have significant ambition and are looking for exceptional individuals to help us deliver for our merchants.What you will be doing
Your core focus will be to engage with Banks and Financial Institutions to discuss partnership opportunities between their organisation and WorldPay.
You will be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining a pipeline of prospective new Bank / FI partners
- Ensuring that we are on track to achieve our business objectives
- Developing tools and solutions to support Bank / FI partners and their clients
- Working with the prospective partners to provide best in class payments expertise and consultancy
- Completion of RFP's and pricing negotiations as relevant to the partner vertical
- Initial management of the partner to ensure delivery of goals and associated revenues for both parties
You must have at least 3 years' experience across Payments so that you have already developed an understanding of the Payments eco system.
You will need to continue your development so that you are seen as an expert in payment solutions, not only of the WorldPay products and solutions but also the wider payments eco system, as technology continues to enhance.
You will also be working closely with our products team to ensure product feedback is passed to aid with future developments.
You will develop additional cross-product opportunities with our partners, driving further value and income growth for Worldpay. You will collaborate with partners to drive innovation, our roadmap and an ongoing leading Worldpay value proposition.What you bring:
- Business Development or Partner Management, turning opportunities into lead flow
- Able to build rapport and strong relationships; internally and externally
- Deep knowledge of various operating models; on boarding, compliance, contracts
- Ability to identify and close business based on key selection criteria and fit with Worldpay services
- Problem solving
- Understanding of the Payments industry
- Awareness and understanding of the key factors surrounding the industry i.e., payment technology
Added bonus if you have:
- Experience of working in or with banks and financial institutions with payments
- Awareness and understanding of the key factors surrounding the industry i.e. payment technology
- Understanding of Salesforce (CRM)
