Reporting to the Head of Quality and Compliance
Overview
To deliver training, assessment, and ongoing support for a caseload of learners using e-learning systems. To deliver Apprenticeships and standalone RQF qualifications within sectors / job roles where you are occupationally knowledgeable and competent.
We are looking for qualified assessors for the following;
- Level 2 Adult Care Worker
- Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker
- Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care
- Level 4 Lead Practitioner in Care
- Level 5 Leader in Adult Care
- To manage all eLearning systems completing administration on the centre's ePortfolio,
- Delivering outstanding teaching and learning of knowledge in the sector of the apprenticeship standards being delivered, by working with the lead IQA, curriculum development and quality leads, attending training, standardisation and welcoming ongoing feedback.
- Using a mentoring style approach to support learners with varying barriers to learning and additional learning needs.
- Ensuring timely progression of learners through their qualifications with the delivery of masterclass workshops, webinars, observation, professional discussion and other assessment methods.
- Carry out regular teaching, assessment visits and monitoring for each apprentice. During the visit, plan, assess, set and monitor appropriate targets, identify and address areas of weakness to ensure learner achievement.
- Supporting training to ensure Apprentices' assessment evidence is regularly uploaded on the eportfolio system (OneFile) by the apprentice and keeping up to date with your own training regarding OneFile.
- Holding regular progress reviews with Apprentices (and line managers) for the purpose of giving specific portfolio advice and guidance, as per Tempest Training Progress Review procedure.
- Responsibility with EPA preparations through 121 meetings, including line manager briefings. Utilising gateway and EPA assessment plans, to effectively prepare the learner for End Point Assessment. _(if applicable)._
- Taking part in monthly progress reviews with your line manager, regarding progress of your learner caseload, working towards a improvement plan to keep learners on track and engaged.
- Attending and contributing to Teaching and Learning standardisation meetings where appropriate
- Liaising regularly with your line manager and quality assurance team.
- Assisting to promote the organisation and its qualification offering to employers and learners
- Adhering to Tempest Training' Policies and Procedures at all time, including but not exhausted to Safeguarding, Code of Conduct, Lone Working and Health and Safety.

- Employer and Apprentice Feedback
- Learners going beyond their planned end date
- End Point Assessment Data
General Duties
- Update job knowledge by participating in your PDP, Training Plan and CPD related activities.

- Work as a team to ensure continuous quality improvements supporting the company's journey to excellence.
- Keep outlook calendars up to date at all times.
Information Advice and Guidance
To deliver a high quality Information Advice & Guidance service to all participants.
To advise and signpost where appropriate to external provision or service, particularly for those participants needing multiple additional or specialised support.
To facilitate and assist all participants through offering tailored and flexible IAG to achieve their desired outcome.Key Responsibilities:
