Description

Due to the expansion of the Emergency Department, the Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust is keen to recruit an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join the growing service.

As part of a multi-disciplinary team, led by the lead ED Consultant, you will practice autonomously within an acute setting to provide patient-centered, high-quality care and ensure safe referral and discharge of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed presentations in any area of the Emergency Department.

This will encompass the skills of assessment, examination, diagnosis and treatment within an agreed scope of practice within the Emergency Department whilst being accountable and self-directed in line with the relevant code of professional conduct.

Roughly 80% of the role will be clinical, with the remaining 20% dedicated to clinical audit, teaching, self-development, development of the service and research.
