With a head office based centrally in Birmingham, BCA logistics is a provider of vehicle inspection, collection & delivery services within the automotive supply chain on a nationwide basis.
Typically operating at end of vehicle contract BCA Logistics inspects & collects in excess of 600, 000 vehicles per annum making it the largest provider of these services within the sector with further growth planned.

Main purpose of job:
BCA Logistics (
BCAL) is looking to fill a position for a Fails and Service Coordinator with the primary focus of the role not only to manage the day-to-day activities but to also assist our driver resource out on the road, to ensure that key operational targets and service levels are achieved and maintained.
Main Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for the daytoday requirements to achieve Customer SLA
- Ability to cover work in the most cost effective secure way to protect customer performance.
- Working closely with the drivers to ensure as a team we deliver a 5star service that exceeds customer expectations and meet customer SLA.
- Building a successful working relationship with the drivers to facilitate service delivery
- To be aware of individual drivers' skills, abilities as well as customer requirements when allocating drivers and covering failed work
- Liaise with recruitment to ensure driver coverage is at optimum levels and to discuss recruitment requirements as well as leavers
- Taking inbound and making outbound calls to the drivers
- Troubleshooting any issues that have may have occurred
- Liaise with the Planning Team regarding reallocation of work
- Provide accurate and proactive updates to the Customer Service Team
- Provide out of hour's emergency cover on a rota basis
Essential Criteria
- Confident to communicate with all team members
- You will be highly organised and have the ability to multitask
- Problem solving skills
- Able to quickly establish good working relationships
- Must have good interpersonal skills and be reliable
- An ability to work alone and as part of a wider team
- Ability to understand costs
- IT literate with strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and in house derived systems
