Young Adults Support Worker

LOCATION:
Paignton

HOURS:07:00 to 23:00 including sleep ins and some weekend cover (12 hours blocks)

Salary:
£ PAYE

Would you relish an opportunity safeguarding young people through semi-independent living in order to help, encourage and educate them to fulfil their potential? If so, BRC has a temp role available in the Paignton area for a Young Adults Support Workerto start
ASAP

Job requirements

Keep and safely maintain accurate records and liaise relevant information with other key professionals and stakeholders involved in the Young Person's network including Social Workers, Education, Family, etc.
Work together in a personcentred approach to identify achievable goals/skills and the path to developing them.
Work together with the client to provide support around the young person's weekly allowance and how best to budget this whilst actively encouraging them to open a bank account to gain more independence over their finances.
