A Customer Service Assistant with Britbet is a customer facing role, which involves the use of a touchscreen tablet to place bets on behalf of guests at Sunderland Greyhound Stadium.

You will have the opportunity to work in a retail position within the public areas with a handheld tablet in a hospitality lounge/box area.


Role duties;

  • To use the betting terminals to take bets from customers (training provided)
  • Pay out guests who supply winning tickets
  • Provide excellent customer service to racegoers
  • Handle cash and cash up at the end of each race day
  • Explain different bet types to customers when needed (training provided)

Skills / Attributes;

  • Good mental arithmetic
  • No prior knowledge of racing or betting needed
  • Ability to deal with cash efficiently
  • Confident relaying information to guests around bets and races after training
  • Enthusiastic
