Salary:
£25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience
37.5 hours per week (including 2 evenings per week)
5 weeks annual leave
Based in Lincoln and working in various locations throughout the week Must have access to own transport

The Youth Team Leader role is an exciting opportunity to lead the thriving youth department of Alive Church in Lincoln in partnership with Acts Trust.

The youth department has an energetic programme with a brilliant team of staff and volunteers.

We have a holistic approach to loving and serving young people in our City, ranging from community outreach, mentoring in schools, holiday schemes and trips through to the discipleship, pastoral care, empowerment and development of young people within the family of Alive Church.

We have a rich heritage of foundational youth work at Alive Church with a strong reputation of delivering top quality youth services in many settings within the City:

• A thriving Friday night and Sunday morning church youth programme
• Contracts with schools to provide onetoone mentor support young people who are struggling
• A programme of community outreach clubs
• Exciting holiday schemes
• Special events including trips, residentials and youth conferences

Summary

• Leading through the outworking of the vision and aims of the youth work team (as expressed in the team vision document)
• Coordinating the full youth programme in order to ensure safe and effective delivery
• Line management of the youth work staff team and delegating responsibilities to assist in leading and coordinating the programme
• Employed by Acts Trust and line managed by the Acts Trust CEO with coaching from the Alive Emerging Generations lead and regular support and connection with the Alive Lincoln location pastors.
• It is a genuine occupational requirement for the post holder to be a practising Christian due to core elements including leading, teaching and participating in christian prayer and worship.
