We are looking for a motivated, passionate and organised individual to join our Recruitment and Outreach team as an Outreach Officer.


You will support the Widening Participation Outreach team in organising, delivering and evaluating outreach activities and initiatives to achieve the University's Access and Participation Plan and recruitment targets.

This will involve shaping the in-school and online provision for pre-16 schools, and delivering a range of workshop, activities and presentations to engage students, parents and teachers.

This role will give you the opportunity to grow within a highly skilled and professional marketing and communications team that are driving innovation and change.

You will have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to motivate and communicate well with young people. You will have project management experience, administrative skills and experience of event organisation and delivery.


You must be willing and able to undertake frequent local travel and occasional travel throughout the UK to work at schools and events.

A full clean driving licence is desirable and DBS clearance is essential. You must be prepared to work evenings and occasional weekends as required.
