Description

To provide a first class Electrocardiography (ECG), ILR and Holter monitoring service throughout the trust including community diagnostic hubs. To undertake clinical evaluation of results, reporting acute or abnormal findings to senior staff/on call medical team/patient's physician.

To have responsibility for actively participating as part of the Multi-disciplinary team within the Cardiology department to provide a seamless service to patients.

To provide help and support where required within the service.

To participate in the education, training and assessment of Cardiographers, Clinical Physiologists (Cardiology) and other professionals and assist Cardiac Physiologists with organisation and running of diagnostic lists.

To act as a lead for other cardiology support workers.
