About the role
Highways and Transport Directorate covers areas such as highways, transport, new infrastructure, and network management.


This role is based in the Highways & Transport Service and provides an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to be part of a professional and motivated team.


We are looking for a focused and flexible Business Support Assistant to work within the Highways Finance and Business Support Team.


This role will be based at New Shire Hall, Emery Crescent, Enterprise Campus, Alconbury Weald, Huntingdon PE28 4YE, but has a flexible structure to cope with varying workload pressures and the post holder will be required to regularly work from a number of bases across Cambridgeshire.


It is essential that the post holder can work flexibly and independently under mínimal supervision, as well as part of a team.

Requirements include general education to GCSE standard with A-C grade in English and Maths or an equivalent standard.
