DMP Building Surveyors is an independent, ambitious and forward-thinking business offering building surveying, design, architectural, project management and professional services to a wide range of commercial clients across South London and South East.

We are excited to be recruiting for a
Building Surveyor to join our team based in Tunbridge Wells. DMP is a highly motivated team of Building Surveyors, Architects and Technicians with impeccable standards.


The varied role will require you to take ownership of key projects, operating independently and as part of a team.

Undertake Building Surveying functions on site and within the office including but not limited to:

  • Full building surveys / Acquisition surveys
  • Dilapidation inspections
  • Measured building surveys
  • Photographic/condition schedules
  • Party Wall Matters
  • Cost management skills
  • Contract administration
  • To prepare reports, specifications and drawings for the repair, refurbishment, demolition, and rebuilding of all types of buildings
  • To tender projects and provide post tender analysis
  • Deliver the principles of quality and health & safety
  • Prepare building regulation notes
  • Understand Auto CAD software an advantage
  • Maintain and promote DMP company standards and values

The requirements

  • Building Surveying or a similar degree. MRICS or working towards
  • Able to demonstrate a commitment to accuracy and professionalism.
  • Must be a car owner full UK Driving License will be required.
  • Good time management.
  • Have mathematical ability and an understanding of the need for accuracy in all work.
  • Have an obvious ability to communicate.
  • Display sound technical surveying knowledge demonstrating growing experience and ability.
  • Present a professional manner and outlook.
  • Be IT literate A sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other software packages including Auto CAD (an advantage)

Salary:
£45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
