The RTR Group Nationwide Limited are a well-established Electrical and Maintenance company operating in Essex, Kent and across the UK.

Our people and customers are at the heart of everything we do and through recent growth we are now looking to expand our engineer's department to ensure we are fully resourced to improve the customer journey.


We are seeking a qualified and experienced Testing Electrician in carrying out various electrical works predominately working in and around London and the South East of England within normal working hours Monday to Friday that include, Residential installation & repairs of lighting and power and Inspection and Testing, across the UK and in a work environment where quality and compliance are absolutely paramount.

Key Responsibilities
Exceptional attention to detail you will undertake the following duties; These will include:

  • General electrical maintenance and call outs
  • Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures
  • Installation of distribution boards
  • Selection and installation of suitable cable for the type and nature of installation
  • Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
  • Test and commission others works
  • Carrying out EICRs.
  • Work in a timely and productive manner to complete assigned tasks
  • Complete risk assessments at the start of each assigned job and complete user notes where required.
  • Work with the Maintenance Coordinators to ensure material resources required for each job are ordered and available to collection or received on site.
  • Work to Health & Safety Professional Standards at all times, including commitment to and understanding of the company's policy.
  • Attend relevant training courses to continue development of knowledge and skills
  • You must hold a current driving licence.

To be successful for this role you will have the following:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent (required)
  • ECS Gold Card
  • 18th Edition
  • C&G Electrical Inspection and Testing qualification or equivalent (required)
  • A good understanding of health & safety legislation
  • Hold a current driving license

  • 40hrs per week Monday Friday 8am 4.30pm (Overtime available too)

Salary:
£38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
