We are currently looking for a focussed, organised and self-motivated individual who enjoys methodically carrying out tasks to work alongside our Material Administration team in Nuneaton.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:


The role will form part of the Building Products division, offering valuable and flexible support in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • This is an important role within BP, with primary responsibility to:
  • Variance analysis between standard costings and purchases invoices
  • Stock count reconciliation
  • Calculating period end GRNI
  • Periodically reviewing purchase invoices to determine whether standard costings need to be adjusted, or whether we are using different sources
  • Reviewing stock boked onto our system is complete and accurate
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Journal posting and control for our Paving business
  • Data manipulation that will help with month end and KPI reporting
  • Intercompany postings and cost investigation
  • Analysis of entertaining, travel and motor spend and circulation to MD monthly
  • Any other adhoc duties as required

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE TO DO THE JOB:

  • Good excel knowledge is essential
  • Team player with good communication skills
