Brand Strategy and Activation lead
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, define and lead the brand and activation strategy across UK and international markets


Responsibilities include:


  • Lead all WFS brand strategy and activation marketing activity including brand campaign creative and communications, agency management, events, campaigns, social media, ambassadors and content creation
  • Successfully line manage and develop the brand strategy and activation team
  • Define and optimise effective and efficient ways of working with the Product & Portfolio and Performance & CRM teams to deliver marketing objectives and hit targets
  • Define and set the UK and international brand strategy and activation objectives, benchmarks and KPIs and ensure all activity is consistently measured, evaluated and optimised
  • Lead UK and international brand campaign creative and communications plus creative agency management
  • Ensure WFS priority international markets receive marketappropriate brand assets and creative for local adaptation and translation
  • Lead ambassador, influencer and organic social media marketing, maximising the impact of strategic partnership opportunities
  • Ensure brand and activation team workload is successfully prioritised and team work collaboratively
  • Ensure the brand strategy and activation budget is consistently managed and spend is optimised
  • Provide guidance, proactive upskilling and encourage best practice sharing across the WFS marketing team within brand strategy and activation

Who we are looking for:


  • Minimum 8 years' marketing experience
  • Strong expertise in brand strategy, communications, events and ambassador / influencer marketing
  • Experience in international marketing campaign development
  • Creative agency management experience
  • Strong leadership, line management and team development skills
  • Extensive experience of simultaneously managing multiple campaigns with different objectives
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in order to drive cohesion and a shared vision
  • Strong relationshipbuilding and negotiation skills
  • Ability to prioritise most valuable activity
  • Exceptional attention to detail and highly organised
  • Proactive, pragmatic and analytical mindset
  • Positive, collaborative, cando attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
