Are you an experienced Assessor looking for a new opportunity to impart your knowledge and play a key role in helping to develop our Production Technicians? If so, we have a great opportunity for youWhat you'll do:
Working under the Head of Water Production, you will help ensure that we produce high-quality water of sufficient quantity for our customers.
As Supply Competency Assessor, you will formulate and carry out formal action and assessment plans that will ensure Production Technicians meet the competent operator scheme (COS) standards, through competency assessments.
You will develop and implement assessment plans, ensuring all Production Technicians are assessed against this for competence and can demonstrate the requirements against the water supply standards, policies and procedures.
You will also complete progress reviews and monitor competency by recording and providing regular updates on progress towards goals, while also setting and agreeing realistic but challenging targets that meet the needs of colleagues and the business.
Working in partnership with Area Production Managers, you will plan, prepare and deliver high-quality training workshops to Technicians across our water treatment centres.
What you'll need:
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who has a flexible approach to work, including the ability to work as part of a team and alone when required.
In addition, we are looking for:
- technical qualification at level 2 or above
- a minimum level 3 assessor qualification and the willingness to work towards level
- PC literacy
