Our work is essential to enable HS2 trains to travel between London and Birmingham as well as continue their journey up to Manchester.

Fleet Breakdown Coordinator within the
Plant team. This role will be based on site in Coleshill. Our head office is located within an excellent location easily accessible via the M6 and M42.
The office is also accessible via rail, and we offer employees a shuttle bus transfer to our office from Birmingham international.
Role description:
- Receive and prioritize breakdown reports from drivers and dispatchers.
- Coordinate breakdown assistance from service providers and support any recovery, repairs etc,
- Maintain a comprehensive breakdown log, documenting incident details, response times and resolutions, escalating excessive wait times.
- Manage defect reporting on behalf of the Sub Lots, ensuring defects are repaired in a timely fashion.
- Submit and track Credit requests when applicable.
- Analyze breakdown trends and patterns to identify potential issues and recommend proactive solutions.
Experienced required:
- The role requires a substantial understanding and experience of major / mega project operations, and the processes involved.
- Prior experience working with commercial fleets.
- Be able to function as the main point of contact for all LCV fleet breakdowns and repairs.
- Proficient in using fleet management software and other relevant tools.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
- Advanced user level MS office
- Sound judgement ability to deal with complex problems
