The Role
As the Lead Data Engineer, you will lead through your technical capabilities, designing and implementing first-class software products that are scalable, with in-stream and batch processing


You will:

  • Lead your team on largescale digital transformations, using Java/Scala to build highcalibre engineering infrastructure.
  • Utilise Spark to process large amounts of data and distribute data streaming services, delivering solutions that leverage large scale data ingestion, processing, storage/querying, instream & batch analytics.
  • Build DevOps pipelines for data solutions, that includes automated testing.

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Big Data and datarelated Cloud services (AWS / Azure / GCP)
  • Handson coding skills with Java and/or Scala
  • Good hands on experience with Spark.
