With locations in Hampshire and Dorset, our glazing operations are focused in and round the surrounding counties of the South of England, including Surrey, Sussex, Dorset, London, Kent, Wiltshire, Somerset and Devon.


Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Sales Assistant to join our team.

As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team and ensuring the smooth operation of our sales processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and has strong communication skills.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, preparing documents & CRM management.
  • Assist with customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
  • Process sales orders and maintain accurate records of sales transactions
  • Collaborate with the sales team to prepare sales presentations and proposals
  • Conduct market research to identify potential leads and opportunities
  • Assist with inventory management and order fulfillment
  • Help maintain a clean and organized sales area

Skills:


  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in German is a plus
  • Proficient in time management to meet deadlines and handle timesensitive tasks
  • Basic math skills for processing sales transactions and calculating discounts or totals
  • Proficient in Excel, MS Word & MS Outlook. Strength using Pipedrive is a plus.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and vendors
  • Phone etiquette to handle incoming calls professionally and assist callers with their inquiries
  • Multilingual abilities are highly valued as it allows for effective communication with diverse customers
  • Ability to sell products or services by understanding customer needs and providing appropriate solutions
  • Upselling skills to offer additional products or services that complement the customer's purchase

Pay:
£22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Retail sales: 2 years (preferred)
