Description
We are looking for a talented individual to lead and develop the Commercial division of Cox Mahon Ltd.


Proactively develop sales and new business accounts to build a profitable portfolio of commercial business in line with the Company's business development plans and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Commercial division.


PERSON SPECIFICATION
High professional standards, detail oriented, excellent grammar skills, articulate, with previous commercial insurance industry experience. Cert CII qualified as a minimum and proficiency with Acturis preferred.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To have ownership of the expansion of this division of the Company in line with our strategic growth objectives and income targets.
  • To develop, lead and manage all commercial insurance activities of the business.
  • To identify and nurture relationships with, and to generate business development opportunities from, professional service providers who can act as introducers.
  • To identify, generate and convert new business opportunities with direct clients including client meetings, site visits, surveys, etc.
  • Contribute to expanding the Cox Mahon wholesale broking activity.
  • To act as the client facing Account Executive for our major clients within the division.
  • To devise and implement the division's Commercial Sales & Marketing Plan and achieve the set New Business Target for the respective period(s).
  • Establish and advise on client requirements and initiate quotes for new business.
  • Uncover new ways of sourcing high value business partners to grow the book of commercial business.
  • To manage and oversee the existing client account servicing activities of the Commercial Team to ensure maximum working efficiencies and profitability are introduced and maintained, and that renewal retention is maintained.
  • Performancemanage, lead, and develop your team members to deliver on target.
  • Report on pipeline income to ensure accurate reporting of performance against targets.
  • Undertake technical and day to day account handling requirements to provide the necessary service to client accounts.
  • Structure and provide technical input for insurer presentations and other insurer documentation for the broking and placement of risks.
  • Liaise with and provide technical advice and input to external client service teams to ensure the needs of the client are being met.
  • Deliver insightful reporting of performance to senior management and give visibility across the whole business.

Salary:
£40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

Experience:

Commercial Insurance: 3 years (preferred)
