(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.

The shift pattern for this post is 7 day service 11.25 hours days and nights

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Nursery nurse within the Neonatal Unit at the Royal Hospital for Children.

The post will incorporate days/nights/weekends/public holidays.

This will be a permanent post. You must hold a SVQ/HNC or equivalent qualification to be considered. You should possess excellent team working skills. Previous experience within a neonatal unit is desirable. Effective communication and time management skills are also required.

The Neonatal unit is a busy level 3 50 bedded ITU/HDU/SC. You should demonstrate excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team and will have responsibility for assessment of care needs and evaluation of care ensuring the delivery of high-quality family centered care to Neonates and their families.

You must demonstrate evidence of ongoing clinical development and awareness of NHGGG policies and strategies.

The ability to organize and priorities workload are essential.
