Description

This is a contracted position for 36 hours a week with overtime available. 3 x 12 hour shifts.

Shifts are 8am to 8pm.

Weekend enhancement, as well as overtime rates.

Every other weekend to be worked.

Rates increase with each NVQ completed.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Escort clients to appointments or social outings
Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate personnel
Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of care provided

Experience:

Previous experience as a caregiver or care assistant is not required as training will be provided.
Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
Compassionate and patient demeanor
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
