We're looking for a talented PHP developer.

HTML5/CSS, MySQL, JavaScript, This is a really exciting opportunity with a family-run healthcare business who have experienced huge growth over the last few years and are on an ambitious course to continue theirsuccess with the help of a new PHP developer.

It is a family business that has been running for 50 years and needs an experienced PHP developer to continue the success story.

The role.

Joining a small development team the successful PHP Developer will work within an Agile setup and see their work making real benefits to businesses and consumers immediately.

You'll report directly into the MD and have real autonomy over the technical architectureand tools that are adopted.

This client are moving towards microservices based architecture with projects ranging from a new Android picking system with robotics integration to a strangler fig on embedded accounts system.


A typical day will look like this:

  • Implementing new features
  • Creating styleguides
  • Bugfixing
  • Querying the database.
  • Building new sites and apps
The experience we need.

  • Experience working on a medium sized eCommerce platform
  • Good working knowledge in PHP7 and Object Orientated programming
  • Solid foundation of the HTML5 stack (HTML, JavaScript, CSS3)
  • Practiced in relational database queries, primarily MySQL
  • Strong problem solving skills

The following experience would be advantageous:

  • AWS for web hosting
  • Queries with Lucene engines
  • RequireJS
  • GitHub for repository
  • Using SSH to maintain CentOS based servers
