Your Role & Team

Across North East Lincolnshire's Children's Services, we are moving forward with reducing the number of systems we currently utilise, consolidating information in fewer places to support and develop better ways of working.

This will allow us to operate in a more cohesive manner and provide analytics that will be invaluable.


This Project will lead to improved visibility of interactions with children and families and will enable better collaboration between services and increase opportunities for early interventions.


Within our IT Project Team, we require an exceptional ICT Systems Lead to support with developing and maintaining existing systems during the transition to a new platform.

You will also be responsible with decommissioning existing systems as appropriate.


Your Responsibilities

  • Lead in the design and upkeep of standard operating procedures for the maintenance and development of systems, strategic and operational analysis, reporting and selfassessments, evaluations and needs assessments.
  • Lead on developing, maintaining and upgrading a wide range of complex intelligence systems including, but not limited to, systems relating to Children's Social Care, Education, Youth Service, Youth Offending, the council's information observatory and all associated reporting tools adapting systems to local data requirements within specified criteria, taking advice from Advanced Practitioners where appropriate.
  • Solve complex problems when issues arise in relation to data, information and intelligence reporting including interrogation of systems, creating accurate system extracts, use of customer forums and liaison with system suppliers to escalate and monitor resolution of system issues to customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare reports for the Team Manager and Advanced Practitioners on future trends, risks and issues in response to analysis of data, information and system usage.

Salary:
£32,020.00 per year
